A New Patient 26 April 2010
Yesterday we called my father-in-law and told him excitedly that he had a new patient. He instantly knew what we were talking about and said: “ALLLRIIIGHT!!”
My father-in-law is the family dentist. Which means, for all you who haven’t yet figured it out, we’ve got teeth, man! Little baby girl is sporting the eruption (yes, that is the technical term) of her bottom front right-side tooth. The one next to it (left front) isn’t far behind. She hasn’t really let us look at it too much, and apparently she’s decided no pictures allowed! But we have gotten our fingers in there and felt it, and it explains the hour of uncharacteristic crying we dealt with the night before.
So. There you have it. Teeth!
Yay!! man so exciting!! I can believe she’s already getting her teeth!
So i’ve never had a baby or anything, and maybe you’ve already tried this, but I’ve heard a peeled normal sized carrot is the best teether toy for a baby. It’s cool, it’s got a yummy different taste, and i’ve heard the vitamins they suck out of it are very healthy for them! So just an idea!!
